The Sequel to ‘Set Me Free’
The documentary discloses that ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ was initially envisioned as a sequel to ‘Set Me Free,’ a solo song previously released by SUGA. Jimin and Pdogg had an inspired idea to create a sequel and feature SUGA in the process. Pdogg mentioned, “Let’s make ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’ and have SUGA featured. That was our plan.” Jimin further explained, “We considered having SUGA do the rap part. That’s why you were going to play the song for SUGA.” Jimin even reached out to SUGA, asking if he could contribute to the track, to which SUGA’s response was, “Please let me know if you need me to start rewriting. I’m happy to do so straight away.”
Emotional Depth and Significance
The documentary delves into the emotional depth of ‘Set Me Free Pt.2,’ adding an extra layer of significance for fans. The song is not just a collaboration but a meaningful exploration of emotions, making it even more special.
