On September 9, 2023, according to data on X (formerly known as Twitter), BTS’ Jimin achieved a remarkable milestone as his solo track “Like Crazy” surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify. What makes this achievement even more impressive is that it became the fastest Korean song to reach this milestone, accomplishing the feat in just 166 days, breaking the previous record held by BTS & Coldplay’s “My Universe,” which took 177 days.

Anniversaries of Jimin’s Solo Songs

Jimin’s beloved solo songs, “Serendipity” and “Lie,” celebrated their 6th and 7th anniversaries, respectively. Fans flooded X with hashtags and tributes to mark these milestones. “Serendipity,” known for its serene beauty, and “Lie,” characterized by its darker and grittier tone, both hold a special place in Jimin’s discography. Impressively, these songs, along with “Filter,” collectively sold 500,000 units in the US and have all earned gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
