BTS’ Jin enlists for mandatory military services; PICS go viral

BTS member Jin has finally bid adieu to his fans and the other six members of the K-pop group (Jimin, V, Suga, J-Hope, and RM) on Tuesday i.e., December 13, 2022. ‘The Astronaut’ singer reportedly entered the boot camp at Yeoncheon, a town near the tense border of North Korea. He will be there for five weeks of basic military training along with other new conscript soldiers. The eldest of all BTS members was accompanied by other fellow mates as he enlisted in the mandatory service. The photos of the septet together have now gone viral on the internet. BTS leader RM shared the same glimpse on his Instagram and wished for Jin’s safe return.

Apart from that, the official Twitter page of BTS also shared a photo of the other six members of the band J-Hope, Jimin, RM, Suga, V, and Jungkook as they sent Jin off to the recruiting center. The caption added to the same post read, “Our brother!! Come back safely!! Love you.”

While Jin did not greet the Army or media as he arrived at the training center, his vehicle was seen entering the said venue followed by the cars of the other members. Soon after he enlisted in the military, his first photos from the boot camp also surfaced on the internet. In the photos that have now gone viral, Jin can be seen standing in a queue while flaunting his new buzz cut.

Jin took to Instagram and shared a picture in which he is seen donning a black t-shirt while showing off his new hairstyle. He also added a light-hearted caption to the picture that reads, “Hehehehehe it’s cuter than I expected.”

BigHit Music, the agency associated with Jin and the BTS members, requested fans to extend their best wishes to the worldwide handsome from afar and not crowd the enlistment venue. Here is what the statement reads, “Jin will fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that we will not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment. The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts.”
