BTS’ Jin meets Coldplay’s lead vocalist Chris Martin ahead of performance in Argentina

BTS’ eldest member Jin is currently in Argentina, but this time, his visit to the exotic location is not a private one! It is because the entire country is celebrating his arrival. Jin is also making news for yet another reason – his collaboration with Coldplay for the single ‘The Astronaut.’ According to the latest reports, the BTS member was more than happy to visit Coldplay’s lead Chris Martin in person as all of them prepared for the band’s MUSIC of the SPHERES show in Buenos Aires. For the unversed, Coldplay and Jin will collaboratively be premiering The Astronaut live on the show following its release on the same day.

Jin’s grand welcome in Argentina

Coldplay was more than happy to welcome Jin at the venue for a rehearsal ahead of their much-awaited performance. The group also shared a picture of them with Jin on Twitter and captioned it this way, “Jin is here! Rehearsals for #TheAstronaut, River Plate stadium, Buenos Aires. First ever live performance tomorrow #ColdplayLiveBroadcast.” The BTS members’ Twitter account also replied to the tweet with a purple heart.

A day ago, the BTS member also attended the British Band’s 2nd day in Buenos Aires and was seen jamming to My Universe, the full group collaboration track on Coldplay’s album that won hearts last year. Chris Martin grabbed headlines as he gave a huge shoutout to Jin, “you’re my universe my brother Jin”.

October 27, 2022, proved to be a big day for fans around the world as Coldplay took to Twitter and gave a sneak peek into the much-awaited single The Astronaut. There is no denying that the teaser itself sounds out of the world that has left the fans excited. Moreover, we get to see Chris Marth at the end of the video as he enjoys the music and gives a beaming smile. It definitely shows how excited he is for the release.

Jin also added a music video teaser for his collaborative solo single with Coldplay on the group’s official social media handle. The 30-second video starts with a glimpse of Jin sitting on the field. We can also see a spaceship crash landing and on fire as he looks forward with an unfamiliar expression on his face. We get carried away by the sensuous and mysterious sound and visual beauty that evoke a feeling of watching some sci-fi movie.
