The track made it to the Top Songs category in several locations like Australia, Finland, and Brazil as of 9:00 am on the next day of its release, per BigHit Music.

The disco-pop track paints warmth throughout its 5-minute run-time and garners feelings of passion, brightness, and happiness all inspired by love. Even though Jin remains grounded in his BTS roots, he is branching out to find his place in the music industry as a solo artist by discovering his interest in the disco-pop genre, and ‘Happy’ is a testament to this journey.

Even though Jin is soaring high with his current success, he never forgets who got him there; the ARMY. While speaking to Billboard on the release of ‘Happy’ on November 16, the K-pop idol noted, “Putting the album together has allowed me to pause and reflect on just how much ARMY means to me,” before adding,  “As I worked on each track, I thought about what I wanted to convey to them, how I want to bring joy and happiness to them, while also expressing how much I missed them during our time apart.”
