BTS’ Jin shows his buzz hair cut ahead of military enlistment

BTS member Jin is all set to enlist for his mandatory military services as per the rules of the South Korean government. For the unversed, the vocalist who is an inevitable part of the septet turned 30 this year on December 4, 2022. According to the latest reports, he is all set to enlist on December 13, 2022, which is sure to leave the Army emotional. Now, the latest that we know is that Jin has shared a new picture of himself with his new buzz haircut, which is a hint that the time has arrived.

Jin’s new post

Jin took to Instagram and shared a picture in which he is seen donning a black t-shirt while showing off his new hairstyle. He also added a light-hearted caption to the picture that reads, “Hehehehehe it’s cuter than I expected.”

Agency’s request

BigHit Music, the agency associated with Jin and the BTS members, requested fans to extend their best wishes to the worldwide handsome from afar and not crowd the enlistment venue. Here is what the statement reads, “Jin will fulfill his required time with the military by enlisting in the army. Please note that we will not be holding any kind of official event on the day of his recruitment. The entrance ceremony is a time to be observed by military personnel and their families only. In order to prevent any issues that might occur from crowding, we ask fans to please refrain from visiting the site. Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts.”

Jin’s birthday

BTS member Jin recently turned 30 and celebrated his special day with none other than the Army themselves! Just before enlisting for his mandatory military service in South Korea, the eldest member of the Septet treated fans with a short but sweet live session on Weverse’s community page. To double up the surprise, Jin’s fellow group member Jimin also joined him.

The video

The live video began with Jin talking about his fellow group member and close friend Jungkook. He also complained jokingly that JK didn’t visit him on his birthday while he did the same earlier. The BTS singer who recently made his solo debut with ‘The Astronaut’, went on to cut his birthday cake. He also urged everyone watching his live video, including his crew, staff, and the Army, to sing the happy birthday song as he cuts the cake. Jin jokingly revealed that the candle flames scare him as they look like horns!
