A few days ago, reports were circulating about Charlie Puth collaborating with the K-Pop group BTS soon. The We Don’t Talk Anymore singer himself had hinted at some sort of collaboration while talking about the Bangtan Boys. Well, it turns out whatever he said was true! However, the singer is not collaborating with the entire group but only the youngest member, Jungkook.
The grand announcement
Charlie Puth recently took to social media on June 17, 2022, IST, and announced the exciting news to all his fans! He has finally unveiled the mystery after having teased the fans with multiple hints in the past. The singer has shared a playful video with none other than BTS’ Jungkook himself while announcing that the duo is teaming up for the single titled Left and Right.
The shared video is in the form of a short skit in which Puth starts the conversation with the golden maknae. He starts by asking the K-pop artist about the feeling he gets when singing memories following him left and right. Jungkook replies by saying that it’s easy and starts singing a beautiful number!
In the middle, we can also see Charlie Puth giving some directions to Jungkook as he sings, and the lines beautifully come together in the form of a beautiful snippet that is nothing less heavenly to hear out! The video ends with Puth saying that the thing is going to be crazy!

More surprises
The video is not the only surprise given by Charlie Puth to his fans. The singer also provided a link for everyone to pre-save the single Left and Right and further wrote, “If we get 500,000 pre saves I’ll drop it on June 24.” So, it definitely means that the single is all set to release on June 24, 2022.
Earlier confirmations
Earlier this month, Charlie Puth talked about and confirmed his collaboration with the BTS members in a recent interview. It was the singer himself who let the cat out of the bag by accidentally confirming his collaboration with the Septet, who is back in the bay sometime back after having attended a meeting with US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Charlie talked about the same during his interview with KIIS FM Wango Tango 2022 when asked if he would ever collaborate with the BTS members. As published in HT, here is what the singer said, “I heard that too, and everybody in my camp doesn’t know the date it comes out, we legitimately have no idea the day it comes out, we do, but we just figured it out.” His quirky response was enough to make the fans believe that collaboration is around the corner!
About BTS
The BTS members, along with Jungkook, are currently on cloud nine as the group recently released its anthology album Proof on June 10, 2022. A few days later, the K-pop band also celebrated their 9th debut anniversary and attended the 2022 FESTA along with millions of army fans.
