In the latest BTS news, Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s Left and Right surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify on July 19. The achievement of this feat bestows the BTS member with the epithet of becoming the fastest Korean soloist to do so. Considered the biggest debut by an Asian soloist in Spotify Global’s history, Jungkook possesses Spotify’s global chart with Left and Right and Stay Alive. His Stay Alive had 4.27 million streams on Spotify, whereas Left and Right boasts the achievement of 6.79 million streams.

On its release, the song held number one position in many countries on Spotify, such as Pakistan, India, South Korea, and the Philippines. On the very first day, it secured the eighth position with 980k streams. This makes it the highest debut for a K-pop soloist on US Spotify.
To top it off, the single has also made its entry into the UK Official Singles Chart for three weeks in a row now, according to the latest chart release on July 15. Not only that, but ‘Left and Right’ is now the sixth fastest song by a K-pop singer to reach 100 million streams on Spotify, even surpassing Halsey and BTS’ Boy with Luv.
Released on June 24, 2022, Left and Right is a single produced with the collaboration of Charlie Puth and Jungkook, who have reunited for the first time since their collaborative performance on the stage at an awards ceremony in Korea four years ago. The song was originally produced by Charlie Puth. However, the duet adds a lively and energetic vibe to it, which is loved worldwide, including by the oh-so-famous ARMY. The music video of ‘Left and Right’ had even crossed 100 million views on Youtube on the 13th of July. Left and Right had also secured the 22nd position on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
