The Korean Business Research Institute unveiled the brand reputation rankings for boy group members in October, showcasing the outstanding popularity of BTS’ Jungkook and Jimin, with Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO following closely behind. These rankings are based on a comprehensive analysis of factors like consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes for a total of 716 boy group members. The data collected spans from September 14 to October 14.

Jungkook Reigns Supreme

Jungkook of BTS has consistently dominated these rankings, securing the top position for the fourth consecutive month with an impressive brand reputation index of 5,492,306. This marks a substantial increase of 27.06 percent from his September score of 4,322,719 when he also held the number one spot. Keywords associated with Jungkook in the analysis included “3D,” “Seven,” and “ARMY,” while top-related terms featured “record,” “enter,” and “release.” Jungkook’s positivity-negativity index reflected an astonishing 89.08 percent positive reaction, underlining his immense popularity.

Jimin’s Remarkable Rise

In October, BTS’ Jimin secured the second position with a brand reputation index of 4,572,219, marking a notable 45.61 percent increase from his September score. This is a significant leap from his fourth position in the previous month when his brand reputation index was 3,140,089.

Cha Eun Woo’s Impressive Surge

Closely trailing in third place, ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo achieved a brand reputation index of 4,488,627 in October, indicating an impressive 62.47 percent surge from his September score. His upward trajectory is evident, considering he held the fifth position in September with a brand reputation index of 2,762,739.

Kang Daniel Holds Strong

Securing the fourth position is Kang Daniel from Wanna One, boasting a brand reputation index of 3,058,921. In September, Kang Daniel was in third place with a brand reputation index of 3,440,712, further cementing his consistent popularity.

V’s Notable Ranking

Finally, BTS’ V rounds out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,363,656 for October. Interestingly, in September, V secured the second position with a brand reputation index of 4,247,789, showcasing an 8.67 percent increase in his score since August.
