BTS’ Jungkook creates new Billboard record by scoring 20 weeks straight on charts

BTS’ Jungkook has made his name on the Billboard charts like no other! The youngest member of the K-pop group has achieved another feat recently as he became the first Korean solo artist to spend 20 weeks on Billboard’s Artist 100. This record came into the limelight on January 6, 2024. For the unversed, JK has maintained a spot in the Top 50 of the Billboard 200 charts because of his solo debut album GOLDEN. He has secured the 46th position on the charts for the eighth consecutive week.

BTS’ Jungkook continues to reign on the Billboard chart like no other with his famous album GOLDEN. According to the latest reports, the Left and Right singer has climbed to the 10th spot on the Top Current Album Sales chart. He has also grabbed the 13th position on the Top Album Sales chart.

Meanwhile, the album’s third popular track titled Standing Next to You has earned the 97th spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. This has happened for the eighth week. Not only that but the track has further secured 5th rank on the Digital Song Sales chart. The Golden Maknae’s other single, Seven (feat. Latto) has ranked 22nd this week on the Global Exclusive U.S. chart.

Jungkook’s latest collaboration with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee titled Too Much has also earned the 19th spot on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart. This is yet another record from the Golden Maknae’s side apart from his GOLDEN album.

JK’s Debut Album GOLDEN

Jungkook’s fans including the Army already know how he debuted with BTS in 2013 under the banner of BIGHIT MUSIC. The youngest member of the group made his solo debut with his album GOLDEN after enjoying global success with hit songs such as Dynamite and Butter. His latest album includes 11 different tracks namely, Seven, Closer to You, 3D, Standing Next to You, Yes or No, and more.

Jungkook also earned multiple Guinness World Records in 2023 which ended well for him. He went on to become the fastest solo K-pop soloist to hit 1 billion streams on Spotify. He also had the most No. 1 hits on the official MENA Chart. Furthermore, the BTS singer won several awards in 2023 including MAMA Awards, Melon Music Awards, and People’s Choice Awards.
