BTS’ Jungkook’s Stay Alive crosses 100 million Spotify streams

The BTS members never fail to amaze us with their music and personalities. Time and again, each member has proved his worth in the world of music. While it was just a while back that Suga was creating a sensation with his latest duet with PSY, the youngest member of the group, Jungkook, is in for yet another record. Yes, that’s right. The golden maknae has recently made an amazing record that is going to make BTS and the army proud.

Jungkook’s latest record

Well, it is not only Jungkook but also his hit song Stay Alive that has recently created a new record. For the unversed, this song was produced by none other than Suga himself. The track was released way back on February 11, 2022, and received a tremendous response from music lovers.  It was a part of the original soundtrack of the BTS members’ webtoon 7FATES: CHAKHO. Now, the latest that we know is that Stay Alive has surpassed 100 million followers on Spotify, the most famous global music streaming platform.

Talking about Stay Alive, it has now become the fastest OST by a Korean artist to reach the 100 million streams mark, that too without any promotion. It has also surpassed BTS member V’s Christmas Tree track for the popular drama Our Beloved Summer after having reached the said mark in 89 days. For the unversed, Christmas Tree reached the same mark in 124 days and became the fastest Korean OST to have reached 100 million streams in April 2022.

Stay Alive’s records

Earlier, Stay Alive had become the fastest song by a Korean solo artist to have reached 90 million Spotify streams in a span of just 73 days. Not only that but it also topped the Worldwide iTunes Chart. It further received the highest streams for a soloist’s track on the very first day as it achieved 4.27 million streams on Spotify.

If media reports are to be believed, Jungkook’s solo single Still With You’s acapella version is also going to be a part of the BTS members’ anthology album Proof. Moreover, For Youth is going to be a part of the digital version of the same album.

BTS caught the attention of fans all around the world after having posted an image that had the list of songs on Proof’s second CD. For the unversed, the list was shown on their official social media handles on May 9, 2022. For the unversed, the first CD of the album Proof was already released earlier which included all the title songs of the albums of the BTS members.
