It’s a good time for the Army around the world as BTS leader RM has officially made his solo debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. For the unversed, he has also earned his highest solo entry in the Billboard 200 to date with the same record. Not only that but Kim Namjoon has entered multiple other Billboard charts this week with his album titled ‘Indigo.’ For the unversed, the album marks the BTS leader’s first time entering the Billboard Hot 100 as a soloist, and it also makes him the 6th member of BTS to have achieved the feat following J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook, and Jin.

Wild Flower (ft. Youjeen)
BTS leader RM’s title track “Wild Flower” (featuring Cho Youjeen) also debuted at number 83 on the Hot 100, which happens to be Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States. This particular record is for the week ending on December 17, 2022. Wild Flower has also debuted at the number one position on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart as well as the World Digital Song Sales chart for this week. Apart from that, the groovy track has entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart at the 20th position and the Global 200 at the 35th position respectively.
Still Life
‘Still Life,’ the track for which RM collaborated with Anderson .Paak, debuted at the number one position on the Billboard Rap Digital Song Sales chart. On the other hand, ‘Yun’ (ft. Erykah Badu) and ‘All Day’ (ft. Epik High’s Tablo) also entered the chart at the 2nd and the 3rd position respectively. The same track also debuted at number 165 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and at number 187 on the Global 200 chart respectively.

For the week starting from December 9 to 15, 2022, RM’s solo album ‘Indigo’ debuted at No. 45 on the renowned Official Albums Chart. With this achievement, Kim Namjoon has become the third-ever Korean soloist ever to have entered the chart. With this, he also follows the bandwagon of his group colleagues Suga (D-2), and J-Hope (Jack In The Box). For the unversed, ‘Indigo’ also debuted at No. 4 on the UK Official Albums Downloads Chart and No. 55 on the Official Albums Sales Chart for this week. On the other hand, the solo album’s title track ‘Wild Flower’ featuring Cho Youjeen, debuted at No. 8 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and at No. 10 on the Official Singles Sales Chart.

BTS’ official YouTube channel, ‘BANGTANTV,’ published a new video named ‘All Day with NamJun’ on December 10, 2022. The official video shows none other than leader RM from BTS who starts his day by getting out of bed and going about with his daily chores. The video begins with a pitch-black scene that is followed shortly by the sound of an alarm. RM gets out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off, opens the curtains, makes his bed, and is seen stretching his laziness out! After that, the leader continues with his daily activities and ends the video later on a fun note.
