The 94th Academy Awards

The Oscars 2022 were finally held after a long wait amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The mega event took place at the Dolby Theatre of Los Angeles. The ceremony did not have any host in the past three years. However, this year was an exception as comedians Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and actress Regina Hall turned hosts for the event night. The awards night was held on March 27, 2020, in the presence of all the who’s who of Hollywood. It was the first time since the 83rd Academy awards that the event featured not one but multiple hosts.

The septet has gone through many ups and downs since last year but that hasn’t let down their spirits. A few members of BTS tested positive for COVID-19 in December last year and in 2022. However, all of them recovered soon. Recently, J-Hope contracted coronavirus and is undergoing home treatment for the same. He is expected to join the group for their upcoming tours.

Popular international rapper Snoop Dogg recently confirmed his upcoming collaboration with the Bangtan Boys. He also praised BTS saying that the members make good music. It was earlier this January that the rapper confirmed about the septet approaching him for a collaboration.

Snoop Dogg spoke about the same to the AV club and stated, “The BTS experience you keep talking about. I’m going to let them tell you about it. It’s official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s [a] vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.” This is not the first time that the K-Pop idols have collaborated with a solo singer. Earlier, they partnered with many renowned singers like Halsey, Nicky Minaj, The Chainsmokers, etc.
