The BTS members have, once again, received an unprecedented achievement. Yes, you read that right! Recently, all the members of the Bangtan Boys (V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, RM, J-Hope, and Suga) surpassed 1 billion streams on the popular music platform, Spotify, under their solo profiles.

This significant milestone is making headlines because the Septet has become the first Korean and Asian group in history to achieve such a remarkable feat. Hence, there is no doubt that the group’s global impact and influence remain unbeatable!

V aka Kim Taehyung’s achievements

BTS member V has set the record straight with his debut solo album, ‘Layover.’ His track ‘Slow Dancing’ (Piano ver.) has already surpassed 100 million streams. Now, the latest that we know is that ‘Layover’ has become the first album by Kim Taehyung to have reached 100 million streams on Spotify.

Layover has also become the fastest album by any Asian artist to have reached excellent streaming numbers. As for V, he has accomplished this milestone in just 258 days! With this, Tae Bear has also broken an earlier record made by NewJeans with their album titled ‘Get Up.’ ‘Layover’ was released on September 8, 2023, and featured V’s beloved dog, Yeontan, in several covers of the same album and its music videos.

RM’s contributions

BTS leader RM is shining bright with the historic milestone that he achieved with his album ‘Right Place, Wrong Person.’ For the unversed, this has also become a million-seller in no time! Moreover, this is the same accomplishment that led to BTS becoming the first group in which every member reached the million-seller tag on Spotify. The album was released on May 24, 2024, and features 11 different tracks.

BTS reunion

The BTS Army has a reason to rejoice because the eldest member of the group, Jin, is all set to be released from his military enlistment duties soon. Yes, you heard it right! He was the first among the Septet to have enlisted for his military duties in South Korea. Now that he is about to finish his time at the military soon, fans are rejoicing over the fact that they will get to see ‘Mr. Worldwide Handsome’ very soon!
