BTS members are yet to make their comeback with a new album after their military discharge. However, it seems like their already released music is enough to break more records!
Yes, remember ‘Permission to Dance’? It was the group’s first-ever live album that has now entered the Billboard 200 charts at no. 10. With this, BTS has also made a record of having the most top 10 entries by any Korean artist in the U.S. charts.
Permission to Dance on Stage — Live is the eighth album of the Bangtan Boys to make it to the top ten on the main albums chart. Of the seven previous top ten entries by the popular K-pop group, six were chart-toppers.

Billboard’s grand announcement
The news about “Permission to Dance on Stage — Live” debuting at no. 10 on the Billboard 200 chart was announced on the official website on July 28.
For the unversed, this album is a live concert recording without any new songs. Despite just having some older tracks of BTS, it secured a top spot in the top tier of the Billboard main album.
BTS has also made history by becoming the third artist to make it to the Billboard 200 Top 10 list with a live concert album, following Taylor Swift and Metallica.
Reportedly, Permission to Dance on Stage — Live has sold over 36,000 units in physical albums. This is followed by approximately 5,000 units in streaming-equivalent album sales (SEA) and 2,000 units in track-equivalent album sales (TEA) for the week.

The live concert shown in the album took place both online and offline in over 12 shows across Los Angeles, Seoul, and Las Vegas in 2021 and 2022. It includes 22 tracks, such as Butter, Dynamite, Blood Sweat & Tears, Permission to Dance, and Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey).
BTS’ much-awaited comeback
Since all the members of the BTS have returned from their respective military enlistments, fans are eagerly waiting for the group’s reunion and, of course, a new album. Well, the good news is that the K-pop group has already announced its official comeback in the spring of 2026.
The Bangtan Boys went live on Weverse on July 1 to let the ARMY know about this update. They also shared their plans about travelling to the U.S. from July for concert preparations and music production.
Just a day earlier, Jimin, J-Hope, and RM were already seen chilling in Los Angeles, and we expect the rest of the members to join them soon.
