In 2016, Agust D released his solo mixtape titled “Agust D.” Within this remarkable body of work, the song “The Last” has now crossed the 100 million stream mark on Spotify. Notably, this achievement follows eight other songs from SUGA’s discography, including “Interlude: Shadow,” “Agust D,” “People,” “Strange,” “What Do You Think?,” “Burn It,” “So Far Away,” and “Daechwita.”

An Impressive Spotify Achievement

The BTS member’s accomplishment on Spotify has positioned him alongside K-pop groups EXO and (G)I-DLE, both of which also have nine songs with over 100 million streams. However, it’s essential to highlight that Suga achieved this milestone as a solo artist, setting himself apart from the groups. On the broader spectrum of K-pop artists, with multiple songs surpassing 100 million streams, BTS leads the way with a staggering 61 songs. Other notable artists in this category include BLACKPINK with 24 songs, IU with 15, and Twice with 10.

Recent Endeavors

Suga is the third member of BTS to fulfill South Korea’s mandatory military service requirements. Prior to him, both Jin and J-Hope had enlisted after releasing their solo albums. Agust D’s enlistment came shortly after concluding the encore concert series, “D-DAY THE FINAL,” in Seoul on August 6, 2023. In the same year, the artist known for his hit “Daechwita” released his latest solo album titled “D-Day,” which followed his earlier mixtapes, “Agust D” and “D-2.” Alongside his music career, Suga expanded his horizons as the global brand ambassador for Italian luxury brand Valentino and later as the ambassador for the NBA, adding yet another accolade to his already illustrious career.
