The announcement has created a ripple effect among the ARMY and signaled the onward motion of the group together despite announcing their hiatus on July 14, 2022, at the FESTA dinner. This decision led a huge impact on the entertainment agency and the group as well. However, the septet later clarified that it would be moving forward as a group, but the individual members will also be spending more time and focusing more on their solo projects and building their careers at the same time.
In a conversation with AV Club, Snoop Dogg mentioned collaborating with BTS and said, “The BTS experience you keep talking about. I’m going to let them tell you about it. It’s official like a referee with a whistle. I love that entertainment world. It’s good music. It’s a vibe. I make good music. They make good music. And we end up doing this. This is what it’s always about, bringing our worlds together.”

Apart from this interview, Rap Monster, also popularly known as RM, confirmed the collaboration on the Grammys’ red carpet. Despite the announcement of their hiatus, the South Korean boy band has been announcing some amazing upcoming projects, music as well as non-music related. Quite recently, all the members of BTS, including RM, Jimin, J-Hope, Jin, V, Jungkook, and Suga, have been announced as the ambassadors of the World Expo 2030 Busan, Korea, by the Bid Committee. This announcement came during the ceremony at HYBE’s headquarters in Seoul, which is the entertainment company of the septet.
