BTS to meet US President Joe Biden at the White House to discuss Asian inclusion

While the army is busy rejoicing the upcoming release of the anthology album Proof, the BTS members are busy with their current schedules. The latest that we know is that Septet is all set to jet off to the US soon. As per reports published a day earlier, the members are going to meet Joe Biden, the current President of the US for discussing Asian inclusion and representation. So, the group members will reach the White House on May 31, 2022, for the same. A part of the meeting’s agenda is said to be about the topics associated with Anti-Asian hate crimes and color-based discrimination.

About the schedule

BTS’ meeting with the US President Joe Biden will be happening at the end of May which is also the Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month (AANHPI Heritage Month). So, both parties are all set to discuss topics associated with the diversity of the entire world.

BTS’ earlier campaign

Apart from their music, the BTS members came to the limelight because of their LOVE YOURSELF campaign for which they associated with UNICEF to speak against violence. The members had earlier given speeches three times at the United Nations General Assembly while trying to highlight an all-accepting world. For the unversed, the BTS members also contributed to the Black Lives Matter Movement in 2020 while stating that they stand against racial discrimination and that they condemn violence.

As revealed earlier, the BTS members are currently gearing up for their comeback album Proof which is an anthology piece including old and new tracklists of the Bangtan Boys. For the unversed, it is all set to be released on June 10, 2022. As a part of the same, the members appeared in separate clips called Proof of Inspiration to talk about their favorite tracks from the album. The Septet also talked about their love for the army in the same clips. These clippings are a part of their promotional tour for their upcoming album.

The latest rumor

Recently, rumors were rife about BTS member V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie dating each other. Some reports even stated that the duo was off to Jeju island on a vacation. However, the agencies of both the singers’ groups have refused to comment on the matter. So, only time will tell whether it was just a rumor or a true fact!
