The members of the popular K-pop group BTS have millions of fans from around the world for obvious reasons. Each member has a specialty of his own, and the army is surely aware of the same. Talking about V, aka Kim Taehyung, he is among the quirkiest members of the Septet. From wooing the audience with his expressions during stage performances to making surprising appearances on social media, the singer surely knows how to grab attention all the time!
V’s new achievement
Another reason why V has a massive fan following is because of his good looks and baritone voice. V has also dramatically changed his concepts and wardrobes and looks to complement the ever-evolving music of the Bangtan Boys, just like the other BTS members. Now, the latest that we know is that the singer has created a whole new record with one of his tracks. Yes, we are talking about his solo OST Christmas Tree that he sang about for the popular drama titled Our Beloved Summer. Recently, the song has officially crossed 150 million streams on the popular listening platform Spotify.
Christmas Tree’s record
Christmas Tree has created a new record on Spotify in just 230 days since its release to have achieved the number. With this, the track has also become the fastest Korean OST to surpass the said number of streams, thereby breaking the previous record held by V for his other solo track Sweet Night which achieved 150 million streams within 505 days of its release. Talking about the same track, it is close to amounting to around 250 million streams, becoming the first Korean OST to do so.
Talking about Christmas Tree, it is V’s third-ever K-drama OST following the track It’s Definitely You, which he sang with fellow BTS member Jin and Sweet Night.
V’s stints
V is among those celebrities who leave no stone unturned to keep his fans entertained. A few weeks ago, the singer shared pictures from his Paris trip that sent everyone into a frenzy. The fans got more excited about the caption that he added along with the post that reads, “Bonjour Paris Ça fait un bail” which translates to “Bonjour Paris. It’s been a while.”
In the first picture, he is seen sitting on a balcony and enjoying the outside view. In yet another picture, he is at his quirky best as he shows only half of his face. Another picture shows him trying to devour a replica of the Eiffel tower! There’s a video in the last part where we can see some pigeons walking over as V captures them in the camera.
