So, asking for an official release date for Call Me Kat Season 3 seems a little early. If we have to guess, looking at the pattern of prior seasons, the upcoming season will most likely premiere sometime around early 2023.

Many fans are predicting around the month of January of next year just like the prior seasons. Moreover, we would like to highlight that at this point this is just speculation. It’s a positive indication that the series was renewed just a few weeks after the finale episode aired since it assures viewers that the series will be able to premiere for the next season on time, rather than facing prolonged production delays. Hence, we suggest the viewers wait patiently for some time as these updates will be confirmed by the network in the near future.

Take a look at some fans’ reactions to the renewal

Call Me Kat Season 3 Expected Plot

The storyline of the sitcom is speculated to continue from the Season 2 conclusion episode, Call Me Shellfish. It is the 18th episode of the second season. The episode is directed by Anthony Rich and the teleplay is done by  Alissa Neubauer & Eddie Gorodetsky. Moreover, the story is written by  Jon Kinnally & Tracy Poust. The episode was watched by an estimated 1.67 million people in the United States alone.

The official synopsis of the episode states, “While Kat struggles to keep her anxiety under control, she comes up with a plan to save the cafe; Max finally gets his big break; Carter struggles with his jealousy.”

*Spoilers Ahead*

In the final episode, viewers got to see that Kat holds a fundraiser at the Middle-C to raise money for the café when she recovers from her panic episode. She generates enough money to keep the business open for a few more months, but she suffers another panic attack when she realizes she’ll need to find a new source of income after it runs out.

Her late father advises her to do what makes her happy in a dream, but she isn’t sure she is happy at the café. She declares the next day that she will close the café and travel to France. Randi and Phil then offer to run the café while Kat is away. Max receives a request to perform his songs in Tennessee.

From this point forward, the plot of Call Me Kat Season 3 will expand its storyline to include more character arcs and new subplots, which will keep fans interested in watching the series. Moreover, the official description of the Call Me Kat Season 2 on the Fox official website indicates that, In Season Two, Kat’s back, navigating life’s ups and downs with a little more self-assurance and a lot more whimsy. Kat’s in her element at her lively cat café, working alongside her friends: Randi, a bold, aspiring artist, and Phil, the café’s resident baker dipped in southern flair.

Across the way, the local piano bar, run by cool, down-to-earth Carter, remains the gang’s favorite watering hole, where Kat’s best friend from college, Max, slings drinks and charms the patrons. All the while, Kat’s mother, Sheila, actively keeps tabs on her daughter’s romantic life, which found Kat in a tough spot at the end of Season One, having to choose between her new beau, Oscar, or her long-time crush, Max. This year, Kat will find herself in all sorts of predicaments, handling them as only she can – with joy, humor, and positivity.
