Cardi B and Stefon Diggs are going to be parents soon.

In a pre-taped interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings this Wednesday, the Grammy winner dropped the truth bomb after months of speculation. She also revealed that Diggs is the father in the same interview.

“I feel very strong, I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work, but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby,” said Cardi while talking to King.

Initially, the interviewer prompted the artist regarding the matter and said, “The latest rumor about you is that you are having a baby, and I want to know what, if anything, you want to share about that with the class.” To this, Cardi replied, “Well, yes I am. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs.”

This will be the fourth child for the Bodak Yellow singer, and the second for Diggs, who has an 8-year-old daughter, Nova. Rumors about her pregnancy were already circulating on social media in the weeks leading up to her surprising announcement. However, instead of giving in to the constant invasion of privacy, she took her own sweet time to reveal the news, and that too, in a subtle way.

“You don’t really want to say right away that you’re pregnant,” she said. “Let me see a couple of more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy.”

This special news also comes ahead of the release of Cardi B’s sophomore album, Am I the Drama, on Friday, September 19.

The artist also emphasized during the interview that she and her partner are striving to be better in their respective fields. “Me and my man were very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” explained the WAP singer, adding that they are never comfortable and that they “just want to keep doing it.”

In other news, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs made their relationship official in May 2025 after being spotted together at the Met Gala. They were also seen enjoying each other’s company during a Valentine’s Day getaway in Miami. She made her current relationship official months after her separation from ex-husband Offset in 2024.

Earlier, Cardi married the Migos rapper in 2017, and they also share three children, including their youngest daughter, who was born in September 2024.

Later, the international artist found solace in Diggs, who has already made a name for himself in the world of NFL.

Before the interview with King, Cardi B did address rumors about her pregnancy, but not in a friendly manner as she did on Wednesday. In fact, she even dissed a person who asked about her relationship with Diggs and Offset while exiting an Alhambra courthouse during her civil assault trial.

The man reportedly said, “Insiders are claiming that Offset is publicly bragging about getting you pregnant for the fourth time.” He continued, “Do you foresee any paternity issues with Stefon Diggs?”

This apparently angered Cardi B, who threw a pen at the man with a clear remark, “Don’t disrespect me.” The artist also addressed the matter in her latest interview and told King how she felt frustrated by the pressure to disclose her pregnancy. She also revealed that she wanted to share the news at her own time.

Cardi B is all set to begin her Little Miss Drama tour on February 11, 2026, at Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs, California. The tour will span 31 North American arenas and will conclude on April 17 in Atlanta, Georgia.
