BTS Army, assemble! Cardi B has finally broken her silence on who’s her BTS bias. Upon the recent release of her new single, Hot Shit, she held an ‘Ask Cardi’ Q&A Twitter session on July 1, 2022, where her fans could freely ask the rapper anything. It was in this session that she unveiled her bias in BTS.
In that session, her fans asked, ‘Who’s your bias (favorite) in BTS?’ She answered by posting a photo of Jimin. That was enough for the BTS army to take the internet by a storm and go crazy. Within no time, netizens posted the rapper’s photo alongside Jimin’s, asking for their collab. Some of the hotshot singers of the Hollywood industry, such as Steve Aoki, Halsey, Nicki Minaj, and now Charlie Puth have already collaborated with BTS.

It’s a wonder why Cardi B, a successful Hollywood rapper, has not collaborated with any of the BTS members yet, especially when the whole world is encapsulated by this Hallyu wave.
In 2021, Cardi B had an interview with Variety, she mentioned that she had to postpone the collaboration with the group due to the unavailability of time. “I was supposed to be on a record with them, but I had just released a record and then it was going to smash with the time,” she said, before adding, “But I love them.”
In the same interview, she had given a glimpse of her and her daughter’s level of excitement toward BTS. She said, “I like BTS a lot, but let me tell you something. My daughter likes BTS, a lot. Like, ‘Mommy, mommy, put (on) the song.’ And it’s like, I already know what she’s talking about.”
For those who live under the rock and have not been caught under the Hallyu wave, BTS or Bangtan Boys is a South Korean boy band that was first created in 2010 and debuted in 2013 with BigHit Entertainment. Since then, it has always been an ascending slanting line for these boys in the music industry. In 2021, they won the American Music Award for Artist of the Year and had been winning Billboard Music Award for Top Group since 2019, except for 2020.
