Is Chicago Fire Season 11 coming to NBC in August 2022?

As of August 8, 2022, we can assure readers that Chicago Fire Season 11 won’t be available on NBC this August 2022. All the series of One Chicago will premiere on the same day with different time slots as Chicago Fire Season 11 will premiere its pilot episode on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 9 p.m. (ET) on NBC.

Followed by Chicago P.D. Season 10: The series will premiere its pilot episode on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. The official Twitter handle of One Chicago also shared the update among its followers on June 30, 2022, quoting, “#OneChicago Wednesdays return September 21.” Take a look at the official post below:

Moreover, the three Chicago dramas have dominated Wednesday nights in total viewers, and the One Chicago lineup is poised to give NBC just its second Wednesday season-long win in total viewers in 17 years. All three series rank among television’s top seven most-watched dramas, and all three are generating double-digit digital growth this season versus last.

In Live+7 Nielsens, Chicago Med is delivering 11.0 million viewers, Fire is averaging 11.4 million, and P.D. is attracting 11.0 million, with a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 for Med, a 1.9 for Fire, and a 2.0 for P.D. Hence, it is not surprising that the network went forward to renew this franchise for more seasons to get the desired ratings for NBC to get more reception and viewership.

He provided a statement to Deadline, quoting, “It wraps up 10 years for me,” the actor reflected. “I think it was pretty organic that he’s leaving and he’s going for three years but is he? We don’t know. It’s been a long time coming when you know how these compadres have gone through life and death together.” Further adding, “It’s hard to say goodbye, you know, see you soon, kind of thing. It was bittersweet but I really enjoyed it and we got some laughs out of it.”

Moreover, Jimmy Nicholas, the actor who plays Hawkins, appeared in a video that Greensmith shared on her Instagram stories. He appears in character and can be seen off-screen chatting with the actress. Greensmith can be heard giggling about the way Nicholas holds his hands while getting makeup applied in the description for the Instagram story, which reads, “It’s the weirdo, bacon hands.”

However, he kept any significant information to himself, quoting, “I’m excited for season 11,” he told Hello Magazine. Further adding, “I’m not privy to scripts or information on where they’re going with it. I have no clue [about kids], but I’m excited.”

The actor also discussed the pleasures of having a character to portray for a decade and how the production team had a significant role in making Chicago Fire such a successful franchise. “It’s never lost on me how special it is to be a part of something with the longevity this has”, he added. “It’s a testament to [show creator] Dick Wolf and the team of people he puts together.”
