The series will return to premiere its remaining episodes after hiatus starting on December 7, 2022, with its 9th episode, simply titled “Nemesis,” at the same time scheduled every Wednesday at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) on NBC.  It will air alongside Chicago Med at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) and then capped off with Chicago P.D. at 10 p.m. (ET/PT) on the broadcast, which will be later available on other streaming platforms. On the other hand, it is already assumed that the new episode will continue the plot from the previous episode. 

The official synopsis of the episode states, “Severide struggles with the cost of helping Det. Pryma with the Martucci case; Gallo campaigns for Herrmann to represent 51 at the National Firefighter’s Association’s Winter Conference; a familiar face makes a shocking return.” In the meantime, we suggest viewers watch the prior episodes in case the viewers haven’t been able to stream the new season yet. According to the official synopsis, “Kidd and Severide’s honeymoon is interrupted by a dangerous person from their past. Kidd’s former academy classmate joins Firehouse 51. Brett and Violet reflect on their relationships.”

Episode 2: Every Scar Tells a Story – September 28, 2022:  The episode is directed by Brenna Malloy and written by Matt Whitney. It is estimated to be viewed by 6.76 million US viewers. According to the official synopsis, “Javi spends a couple of shifts at Firehouse 51. Kidd and Carver work together to help Carver’s former boss. As Hawkins and Violet’s relationship blossoms, Gallo turns his attention elsewhere.”

Episode 3: Completely Shattered – October 5, 2022:  The episode is directed by Matt Earl Beesley and written by Derek Haas. It is estimated to be viewed by 7.35 million US viewers. According to the official synopsis, “Kidd recruits Carver, Capp, and Tony to help prepare her new lieutenant’s quarters. Severide and Det. Pryma reluctantly pairs up to work on a police investigation. Firehouse 51 comes together to fight a movie theater fire.”

Episode 4: The Center of the Universe – October 12, 2022: The episode is directed by Stephen Cragg and written by Andrea Newman & Michael Gilvary. It is estimated to be viewed by 7.16 million US viewers. According to the official synopsis, “Kidd gets a glimpse into Carver’s chaotic personal life; Mouch and Herrmann receive an unexpected gift.”

Episode 5: Haunted House – October 19, 2022: The episode is directed by Reza Tabrizi and written by Victor Teran. It is estimated to be viewed by 7.03 million US viewers. According to the official synopsis, “Firehouse 51 hosts a Halloween open house; Kidd and Severide help a young girl after she gets kicked out of her home.” 

Episode 6: All-Out Mystery – November 2, 2022: The episode is directed by Brenna Malloy and written by Andrea Newman and Michael Gilvary. It is estimated to be viewed by 6.56 million US viewers. The official synopsis of the  episode states, “Severide and Kidd investigate an explosion at a jewelry store; Cruz and Chloe take steps to make Javi a permanent part of their family; Gallo, Ritter, and Mouch try to bond with Carver.” 

Episode 7: Angry Is Easier – November 9, 2022: The episode is directed by Kantu Lentz and written by Elizabeth Sherman.  It is estimated to be viewed by 6.19 million US viewers. The official synopsis of the episode states, “Herrmann is tasked with fulfilling a man’s dying wish; Kidd reflects on her Girls on Fire program after one of her student’s graduates from the Fire Academy; a heckler harasses Firehouse 51.” 

Episode 8: A Beautiful Life – November 16, 2022: The episode is directed by Lisa Robinson and the story is written by  Ashley Cooper along with the teleplay written by  Andrea Newman & Michael Gilvary.  It is estimated to be viewed by 6.90 million US viewers. The official synopsis of the episode states, “Detective Pryma asks for Severide’s help on a case involving explosives; Gallo and Carver clash after Gallo improvises on a call; Violet encourages Brett to start dating again.”

The main cast members of the series include the actors with their respective character descriptions, as follows:  Taylor Kinney as Lieutenant Kelly Severide, Kara Killmer as Paramedic Sylvie Brett, David Eigenberg as Lieutenant Christopher Herrmann, Joe Miñoso as Firefighter Joe Cruz, Christian Stolte as Firefighter Randy “Mouch” McHolland, Miranda Rae Mayo as Lieutenant Stella Kidd.

Along with Alberto Rosende as Firefighter Blake Gallo, Daniel Kyri as Firefighter Darren Ritter, Hanako Greensmith as Paramedic Violet Mikami, Jake Lockett as Firefighter Sam Carver, and Eamonn Walker as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden will also star in the show. The television series was created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, with Dick Wolf as an executive producer.
