In a recent exclusive interview with People, Chrishell Stause talked about the upcoming Selling Sunset reunion, which is set to release on Netflix on November 15. The actress, 42, said that the reunion “gets heated, but there are also a lot of really beautiful resolutions.”
In this episode, Stause and her fellow castmates, including Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, Emma Hernan, Chelsea Lazkani, Nicole Young, Bre Tiesi, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae El Moussa, the Oppenheim brothers, Jason and Brett Oppenheim, will make an appearance. Together, they will delve into the unresolved drama from the current season, which began airing earlier this month.
As per Stause, “There is a huge announcement that’s going to be made, so everyone needs to tune in for that.” “I’m looking forward to people watching,” she added.
What happened in the latest season of Selling Sunset?
In Selling Sunset’s latest season, The Oppenheim Group faced scandalous and emotional storylines while navigating home sales. Feuds erupted, including Young, 53, clashing with Stause and Hernan, 32, and Tiesi, 32, revealing a fling with Michael B. Jordan. Stause and Smith, 46, had a fallout in Cabo, while Bonnet, 43, experienced a significant miscarriage. Moreover, Stause’s Las Vegas marriage to G Flip raised eyebrows due to legal technicalities.
The reunion will pick up the ‘current state of affairs’
Speaking on the Selling Sunset season 7 reunion special, hosted by Queer Eye’s Tan France, Stause further told People, “When the season ends, people are left with a lot of questions, and the reunion’s job is to not only answer those questions but to also pick up where the current state of affairs is.”
She went on to detail that “sometimes there are months between what we filmed and what you’re seeing,” the reality star notes, “You’re definitely going to get the current state of affairs of every piece of the drama that we dealt with in season 7.”
“I feel like it’s one of those things where everyone’s going to watch it live,” the real estate agent added. “With the show dropping all at once, it’s really kind of hard for everyone to talk about things in real-time, so the reunion will be different.” Stause continued, “I feel like it’ll be a little more of a live-watching opportunity.”
