Will we see more of this Indian crime drama thriller? Continue reading to learn more about Class Season 2.
If you’ve been keeping up with Netflix’s global catalog, you’ll know that the first season of “Class,” is finally available to stream, leaving no doubt that viewers will binge-watch it by the end of the day or week. To everyone’s surprise, despite being an adaptation of the popular Spanish series “Elite,” it has already debuted at number one on Netflix India’s “Top 10 TV Shows in India Today” list.
While also debuting in Bahrain, the Maldives, Mauritius, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, the UAE, and Sri Lanka’s “Top 10 TV Shows” lists. As a result, it is obvious that this will eventually spark many questions on social media platforms about an early renewal for the second season. Therefore, if you have the same question, you have come to the right place! Here’s everything we know about Class Season 2.
Is Class renewed for Season 2?
As of February 2023, the network has yet to formally announce the second season of Class. The first season premiered all the new episodes on Netflix a few days ago, on February 3, 2023, making it unreasonable to ask for any news or updates about a potential renewal as it is evidently too soon for any major network to make such significant statements in such a short period of time. In the meantime, fans should wait for Netflix to formally verify and acknowledge this information.
We understand your anticipation of knowing what’s next in the tale, but you should know that the network may assess its performance and reception before renewing the series for future seasons, and it takes some time. In the meantime, look at some of the tweets from fans below, which prove that the anticipation for the second season has already begun, increasing the likelihood that the show will be renewed and exploring more character arcs if it is successfully received by the audience in the following weeks.

Class Season 2 Speculated Release Date and Time Slot
As previously stated, the series has not been formally verified. As a result, the anticipated premiere date has yet to be announced, as the status is neither here nor there. So, if the show is renewed in a few weeks, we can predict that the potential release date will be around 2024, as early renewal results in production starting on a timed schedule, resulting in a similar year gap with the next installments.
In addition to this, the premiere time of the episodes on the streaming platform can be 12:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET), just like other Netflix shows. In order to receive updates on when Class Season 2 premieres on Netflix, interested viewers can also enable notifications. Until then, fans should keep a close eye on the social media handles of the show to learn about any new updates.

Class Season 2: What to expect?
It’s far too early to speculate on the plotlines, as the first season just premiered and the show’s creators haven’t even mentioned the new season. But if we have to speculate, the new season is definitely going to pick up from the final episode, in which the viewers got to see the events leading up to Suhani’s death revealed. As Suhani receives a scholarship at Hampton’s Founder’s Day party.
Sharan inadvertently murdered Suhani with the trophy she received following a heated argument about her involvement with Koel’s father’s watches, which he wanted to retrieve in order to prove his worth to Koel. On the other hand, Koel consoles Sharan and summons her father to handle the situation. The police arrest Neeraj after interrogation. Later, Dheeraj becomes frustrated when he is unable to locate the prison where Neeraj is being held.
Meanwhile, Koel and Sharan receive blackmailing messages from Balli, who had seen them after the murder. Additionally, we have limited the information about the new season to avoid major spoilers, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions. We advise you to stop reading if you haven’t yet streamed the season. Here is the official episode guide for you to get a glimpse into the season:
