CLC to officially disband in June leaving fans disheartened

It comes as a huge shock to the K-pop fans as the popular band CLC has officially disbanded. It was on May 20, 2022, that CUBE Entertainment confirmed the news by stating that all group activities of the popular girl band have come to an end. It was conveyed through an official notice on their fan cafe. According to the latest reports, all operations by CLC CUBE will come to an end on June 6, 2022. Apart from that, the agency that was associated with the group thanked the fans for their constant support over the last seven years.

The official statement

Here is what CUBE Entertainment said in its official statement about CLC’s disbandment.

Hello.

This is CUBE Entertainment.

First of all, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you for always loving and supporting CLC over the last seven years.

As CLC’s official activities have ended, we would like to inform you that the operation of CLC U CUBE will be terminated as of June 6, 2022.

We’re planned to allow you to read the posts for a certain period of time so that you can cherish the precious memories made with the CLC members. For more details, please refer to the following.

  1. Termination Date: June 6, 2022 (MON) 0AM (KST)

– Please understand that you will not be allowed to access CLC U CUBE after above-mentioned date.

Talking about the girl K-pop group CLC, it officially made a debut on March 19, 2015, with five members. Later on, two more members joined the group in February 2016. The seven members of the group were Yujin, Seunghee, Seungyeon, Elkie, Eunbin, Sorn, and Yeeun.

Earlier exits

For the unversed, CLC member Elkie earlier made an exit from the group in February 2021 after a year-long hiatus from the band.

Fan reactions

Many CLC fans are heartbroken to know about the group’s official disbandment. However, most of them are not as shocked as they should be as they were expecting an announcement of this sort sooner or later.
