R&B singer Crush is all set to make his comeback after a long sabbatical of one year and nine months. This has been confirmed by his agency, P Nation, too. The artist who debuted on April 1, 2014, with the single Sometimes will now be releasing a new EP titled Fang on August 28, 2025. It will have six tracks, namely Up All Nite, 2-5-1, Frequency, Malibu, Mammamia, and Overlap.

This marks his first-ever music album in 1 year 9 months, since the earlier album Wonderego, which was released on November 14, 2023. In the same year, Crush also embarked on his Asia tour across several countries, including Jakarta, Tokyo, Osaka, and Bangkok.
Meanwhile, the official teasers for Fang have already been released on Crush’s official Instagram handle. In the pictures, he is seen wearing a white t-shirt with his back turned towards the camera. It seems like Crush also got a new hairstyle for his EP, which is quite evident from the teasers. What’s going to pique anyone’s interest further is his seemingly wounded fingers that he puts on the back of his head.
Here’s a glimpse of the official teaser images:

Meanwhile, Crush has also shared a separate clip for one of the songs from his EP, Frequency feat. Loco. It’s a behind-the-scenes sneak peek into the shooting of the track, where we can see the R&B artist recording inside a studio room and shooting across locations like a seaside, at home, on the road, and several other places. Did you know that Crush had earlier collaborated with BTS’s J-Hope, too? He teamed up with Hobi for Rush Hour in 2022, which also marked his first release after completing his mandatory military service a month prior. Before that, Crush’s last record had been the EP With Her in 2020.
On the personal front, Crush was confirmed to be in a relationship with singer Joy from Red Velvet on August 23, 2021. He had also collaborated with her during the previous year. In fact, his agency, P Nation, also confirmed their relationship back then with a statement that read, “Crush and Joy started as close friends in the industry, but recently started to meet each other with good feelings.”
However, there were rumors about the couple splitting up in early 2024 after Crush allegedly deleted Joy’s photos from social media. A few reports also said that the latter had unfollowed him on Instagram. Despite the speculations, none of them or their agencies has spoken about the matter to date.
