Dead to Me Season 3 Plot
At the end of Season 2, we see Jen and Judy involved in a road traffic accident when Ben crashes into them and destroys Charlie’s car in the process. Judy didn’t get many injuries, but Jen was struggling as she looked completely knocked out in the last moments. She was alive but injured as she was on the side Ben crashed into. In Dead to Me Season 3, we expect to see the story follow from where we left off. Jen and Judy are once again in a big mess, and Ben will try to pretend he was somewhere else.
Linda Cardellini, who plays Judy, said in a statement to GoldDerby, “I always say whatever I can think of, Liz always comes up with something a million times better, and the writers, You think you know where they’re going and they take another turn and you didn’t see it coming. I’m excited to find out.”
Also, there is Steve’s dead body, which won’t stay hidden for much longer as we saw that it was being dug by a dog in the forest. James Marsden, who plays Ben, told TV Guide, “This guy I believe does make a conscious effort to look at himself in the mirror when no one else is looking and do the right thing, But sometimes the forces can overwhelm. And I think those are starting to compound and pile up for him and I think that’ll be an interesting exploration in season three if we go there.”
Speaking to Vulture in 2020, Liz Feldman, executive producer, said, “I had a version of an end for season three that I’m rethinking, actually, because I think it’s important to pay attention to where we are collective as a human race and to be sensitive to the fact that our audience is living through this incredibly difficult moment in history.
“This experience is going to color what we end up exploring in season three. We’re all going through a traumatic moment and this show is very much about trauma and grief and loss.”
