Demi Lovato and her fiancé, Jordan Lutes, are taking a laid-back approach to wedding planning, as exclusively revealed in the latest issue of Us Weekly. It’s been a month since the couple announced their engagement, and it appears that they haven’t been “stressing” about the impending nuptials.
According to a source, “They know they have their whole lives together, so there’s no pressure to make final decisions on any of it.” They added, “At the end of the day, Demi knows it will be absolutely perfect.”

Lutes, 26, proposed to Lovato, 31, in December 2023, in a moment described as “personal and intimate” according to the US Weekly. Lutes adorned the pop star with a stunning pear-shaped diamond solitaire ring by Material Good. To top off the celebration, he orchestrated a surprise engagement party in Los Angeles, attended by their close circle of family and friends.
Following the engagement, another source shared the elation within Demi’s inner circle. “Demi’s mom and sister are thrilled for her and Jutes,” a source told Us. “They’ve never seen Demi so happy with anybody before and they know she’s going to make a beautiful bride.”
The insider emphasized that Lovato’s family “couldn’t be happier for her,” especially since her relationship with Lutes is “different from her past romances.” The source added: “They haven’t stopped seeing Demi smile since she and Jutes began dating.
