Demon Slayer Season 3 Plot
It has been confirmed that the third season’s story will center on the Swordsmith Village arc, the ninth arc of the manga’s original publication. Regarding the story, we know that season 3 will begin right after the Demon Slayer Corps and Upper Moon 6 Gyutaro and Daki’s final battle. So, this indicates that the next episode of the anime will cover chapters 100 to 127 of Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga, which serves as the basis for the TV series. The Swordsmith Village arc in the Demon Slayer manga occurs immediately after the Entertainment District arc, which was covered in Demon Slayer season 2.
This arc will show Tanjiro Kamado’s search for a new weapon after his go-to swordsmith, Hotaru Haganezuka, declined to create one for him. When Tanjiro sets out to do this, he encounters Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, who informs him of a hidden weapon hidden somewhere in the village. Despite his initial disinterest, things eventually work themselves out and he ends up discovering the renowned sword. Fortunately, his timing is impeccable because he will need this sword to battle Upper-Rank demons Gyokko and Hantengu, who are obviously up to no good. Tanjiro Kamado along with Mitsuri Kanroji, Nezuko Kamado, Genya Shinazugawa, and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito fight to the death against evil.
As per AnimeNewsNetwork, Satoshi Hino (Rengoku) was able to identify the key to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s global success. “I’m really happy to learn that the appeal of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Japanese animation has struck a chord with many overseas viewers. “Caring for family, the importance of life, and to live one’s life to the fullest are some of the themes in this anime, which everyone around the world can relate to. I feel really blessed that everyone around the world has become one and shares this common sentiment.”

The two major additions will be Mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito, and the Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji, who were both first introduced in episode 21 of season one. It goes without saying that the series may still include new heroes and demons which may be released later.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episodes and Streaming Options
Swordsmith Village Arc is also said to begin with a one-hour special episode rather than the standard 22-minute runtime. Given that the Entertainment District arc covered a similar age range of 70 to 99, this season will probably consist of 12 episodes, give or take a few. The third season of Demon Slayer, along with the prior two seasons, is also available to watch on Funimation, Hulu, and Crunchyroll. The first season was released on Netflix, which is a widely used digital streaming platform due to the high demand from viewers. Season 1, which debuted in 2019, is currently available to stream on Netflix based on the viewer’s location and membership plans, which users can choose from according to their preferences.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Official Trailer
The official trailer of 2:48 minutes was released earlier on April 16, 2022, by the network, which showcases that the television series is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a teenage boy who aspires to be a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister, Nezuko, transforms into a demon.
The Demon Slayer Swordsmith Village arc teaser trailer depicted a timeline summary of events, dividing them into three separate scrolls. The first scroll’s edges were decided to be painted the same shade as Tanjiro’s haori, indicating that the first season of the anime concentrated on Tanjiro’s beginnings, his journey to becoming a demon-slayer, and the epiphany of his true potential through the first performance of Hinokami Kagura.
