It was just a few days ago that the BTS members visited the US to meet President Joe Biden to discuss matters of Asian inclusion and representation. The Septet was once again able to grab the attention of the entire world to their noble causes by highlighting significant issues during the meeting. Right now, the Bangtan Boys are back to the bay and gearing up for the release of their upcoming anthology album Proof, which is scheduled for a release on June 10, 2022, a few days before their 9th debut anniversary.
The White House’s response
The White House has recently released a video on June 4, 2022, of the BTS members visiting the office as they met President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. The 4-minute heartwarming video shows a serious conversation between the Septet and the leaders concerning anti-Asian hate crimes. The video also shows all the members talking during the press conference.
It was great to meet with you this week at the White House, @bts_bighit. The rise in anti-Asian hate crimes requires all of us to stand up, speak out, and give hate no safe harbor. Thanks for all you’re doing. It matters. pic.twitter.com/R1YpKnO9zA
