The 79-year-old US President is back with yet another dig at his presidential predecessor, Joe Biden. This time, at his mental fitness.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Trump continued to make multiple comments about the 83-year-old former U.S. president, stating, “I think Joe Biden is the worst thing that ever happened to old people.” According to the Times, Trump brought up Biden’s name “repeatedly” throughout the two-hour conversation.

Trump’s dig at his predecessor is not new and definitely not the first one. He spoke out against Biden last month when the White House revealed new plaques that were added to the Presidential Walk of Fame on the Colonnade.

According to PEOPLE, the new description reads, “Sleepy Joe Biden was, by far, the worst President in American History. Taking office as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States, Biden oversaw a series of unprecedented disasters that brought our Nation to the brink of destruction.”

As far as Trump’s age is concerned, it doesn’t concern him that when he first took office, he was eight years younger than his current age. According to him, it doesn’t affect his ability to lead the country. He said, “I think it’s easier for me. I feel physically the same,” he said. “I feel the way I did 40 years ago.”

According to PEOPLE, Trump referenced his decision to consume a 325-milligram daily dose of aspirin, which he previously told The Wall Street Journal, with the Times. The mentioned dose is not recommended as a preventative medicine for people over 70.

Refusing to take other blood thinners, he said, “I want nice, thin blood going through, because everyone I know that took them is dead.”

During his conversation with the news outlet, he also addressed the consumption of other medicines, including GLP-1, for weight loss. He revealed that although he hasn’t consumed GLP-1 weight loss medication before, “I probably should.”

“I’ve gone out of my way to take physical exams more than anybody. I just feel it’s important because I think that people who are president ideally should be in good health, and they should be good cognitively,” he added.

Back in November 2025, the Trump administration announced a deal to reduce the costs of GLP-1 drugs. At the time, the president refused the consumption of any such medication and called out members of his administration who do by name, while talking about the deal at a White House event.

As per PEOPLE, Trump’s formal physical exam report from April 2025 revealed that he had lost 20 lbs since his first term in office. Last spring, his weight was listed as 224 lbs. and was previously recorded as 244 lbs. in 2020.

Currently, the US President is in the overweight category based on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s BMI calculator.

Be that as it may, Trump does not hesitate to ridicule others for their appearance. Reportedly, he was accused of telling one of the Miss Universe’s contestants, “Suck your gut in”, while calling another “Miss Piggy.”
Back in 2019, he fat-shamed one of his own supporters, a Navy veteran, mocking his weight and telling him to “Go home, start exercising”, after he mistook the man for a protester at a rally in New Hampshire.
However, Trump and exercise don’t quite go well. Except, of course, golf. Speaking to WSJ earlier this month, he said, “I just don’t like it. It’s boring. To walk on a treadmill or run on a treadmill for hours and hours, as some people do, that’s not for me.”

Per The Times, Trump doesn’t believe in exercise and thinks “people are born with a finite amount of energy and that vigorous activity can deplete that reserve, like a battery.”
