About Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero

Dragon Ball Super is a manga series drawn and written by Akira Toriyama. It was initially published in the Weekly Shonen Jump of Shueisha between the years 1984 and 1995. For the unversed, the story for the same was inspired by the popular 16th-century Chinese tale titled Journey to the West and is blended with various other aspects of Hong Kong martial arts movies.

As of now, Dragon Ball is a large media phenomenon that spans manga, anime, and other video games. All of them chronicle the adventures of Son Goku from his boyhood to maturity as he receives training in the field of martial arts. Talking about the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, it has been written by Toriyama and produced under the banner of Toei Animation. For the unversed, it marks its second entry in the Dragon Ball Super Film Series. It earlier debuted with the movie titled Dragon Ball Super: Broly which was released in 2018.

In the earlier version, Goku succeeded in eliminating the evil organization called the Red Ribbon Army. Toei Animation and Crunchyroll have now officially confirmed the release date of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero worldwide. So, yes, the much-awaited movie is going to be released globally in August this year after having its debut in Japan on June 11, 2022. However, no precise date has been mentioned by the makers of the movie’s release yet. The film is going to be released around the world in Japanese with subtitles and will also be dubbed in various other languages.
