Dua Lipa and Seth Meyers are ink buddies now!

On Tuesday’s episode of “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” the duo decided to get matching tattoos while taking shots poured down the pink slide of Barbie’s Malibu Dream House, they had originally planned to do it the last time Lipa was on the show.

While the singer revealed that she has around 20 tattoos on her body, Meyers who was tattoo-free needed a couple more shots before proceeding with his body art. The two initially decided to get matching dots, as the “Late Night” host said, “I’ve never gotten a tattoo before, so we’re just going to do a solitary dot,” but Lipa suggested that they should get matching stars instead, to which Seth jokingly replied, “Are you pulling a fast one on me?” as he didn’t seem to like the idea initially but ultimately he agreed to get a tiny star inked on the back of his right calf.

Lipa was the first one to get herself inked, she seemed very excited as she said, “Oh my god, this is perfect, I’m very excited,” right before the celebrity tattoo artist, Keith “Bang Bang” McCurdy added a star to her inner ankle. “We’re going to be, like, bonded for life.”

As Meyers’ turn arrived, Bang Bang offered to let Lipa tattoo the host, but he wasn’t down for it, as he laughingly said, “I do not trust Dua at all.” Seth chose a spot on his lower leg, telling the artist that, “Right there, yeah, I want to kind of forget I have it.”

While the star was inked on his leg, Meyers said, “It’s really funny to have made it this long in my life not getting a tattoo. I really have to cheers you again, my friend.” After they were done, the two friends shared a big hug.

Lipa and Meyers were in safe hands with Bang Bang, as he’s one of the most well-known celebrity tattoo artists and has inked celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, LeBron James, Cara Delevingne, Adele, and many more. The artist, who is based in New York and pioneered the rewritable Magic Ink (supposed to launch on January 17) has also given Selena the dripping nose tattoo on the back of her neck, which she got a few years ago.

He posted a picture of the tattoo on his Instagram page in December 2021, writing, “Watercolour on @selenagomez,” in the caption. He also shared a faraway look of the same tattoo, to make fans curious for the closeup. The tattoo was a beautiful pink flower with black ink flowing from the bottom of it.
