For the unversed, the story of East New York follows the officers and detectives of the 74th precinct in the titular neighborhood of Brooklyn. The prime focus is laid on the visionary Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood (Amanda Warren), who is the newly promoted boss of the precinct.
