Following Suspicion, Keshet Productions’ new drama starring Uma Thurman and based on Amit Cohen and Maria Feldman’s award-winning Israeli series False Flag for Keshet Broadcasting, Echo 3 is the second straight-to-series order from Apple and one of Keshet International’s production companies. “I’m honored to collaborate with the team at AppleTV+ who gave me the opportunity to make the series I wanted to make – one that feels big and purposeful and refuses to stay in any lane,” says Boal. “This is a black ops thriller and tale of international intrigue, set in Colombia, a country I had known only from afar and immediately fell in love with.”
Echo 3 Plot
The official description of the series states, “Echo 3 is an action-packed thriller set in South America that follows Amber Chesborough (Jessica Ann Collins), a brilliant young scientist who is the emotional heart of a small American family. When Amber goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother, Bambi (Evans), and her husband, Prince (Huisman) – two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts – struggle to find her in a layered personal drama, set against the explosive backdrop of a secret war.”

The main cast members of the series are as follows: Jessica Ann Collins as Amber Chesborough, Luke Evans as Bambi, Michiel Huisman as Prince, Elizabeth Anweis as Natalie Foster, and Fahim Fazli as AL Qaeda Commander. Moreover, Boal serves as the showrunner with Pablo Trapero directing.
Echo 3 also stars Martina Gusman as Violetta, a prominent political columnist. The series features James Udom, Maria Del Rosario, Alejandro Furth, Juan Pablo Raba, and special guest star Bradley Whitford. Echo 3 is also based on the award-winning series “When Heroes Fly,” created by Omri Givon and inspired by the eponymous novel by Amir Gutfreund.

According to Apple TV+, it is filmed in Colombia and has both English and Spanish dialogue. The upcoming series has a total of 10 episodes, with the first three episodes that will drop on the same day, November 23, 2022, then continue to premiere on a weekly basis and conclude on January 13, 2023.
Moreover, the episode titles and synopsis of the series were not released by the network as of October 1, 2022. The network will publish those details when the episodes are due to air on the streaming service.
