Eiza González stands up for JLo while she’s getting so much hate online for canceling her tour amid separation rumors with Ben Affleck.
The “Bloodshot” actress took to her Instagram stories on Friday, to call out the haters for giving Lopez a hard time since she’s canceled her tours.
González shared a post from The Hollywood Reporter’s Instagram page, reading, “Jennifer Lopez cancels Summer Tour: “I Am Completely Heartsick,” and added a note alongside, which read “I have to say the level of bullying that this woman has received in the last few months is so disturbing and heartbreaking. How can you complain about someone being mean while enjoying being mean about them.”
The “Ambulance” actress further continued by hinting at Lopez and Affleck’s marital woes as she said, “People are humans, make mistakes and some have personal things happening while also having to be constantly perfect in the public eye.” Concluding the lengthy note Eiza said, “The world is a pretty complicated place. The best thing we could be doing now is be kind. We have no clue what people are experiencing.”
JLo canceled the tour as she needed to “be with her children, family and close friends.” The announcement was made when the show had already gone through a rebrand due to low sales.
While rumors are rife that there’s trouble brewing in the paradise, both Lopez and Affleck have stayed tight-lipped about the divorce reports. According to Page Six, an insider opened up about Affleck’s side of the story saying, “If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would. He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
The couple, who have been facing separation rumors for quite a long time now seem to be keeping their kids first as they’ve been spotted together on many occasions like the basketball game of the “Hypnotic” star’s son Samuel and the graduation party of his daughter Violet. Affleck shares both Samuel and Violet with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
