After the nail-biting cliffhanger of Season 5, fans are eagerly waiting for Elite Season 6 to unfold the mysteries and suspense, but sadly, the sixth season won’t be coming to Netflix in the upcoming month.
For the unversed, Elite is a Spanish thriller teen drama that focuses on the lives of three working-class teenage students enrolled in an elite secondary school through a scholarship program among their wealthy classmates. It series is created by Carlos Montero and Darío Madrona for Netflix and is set in Las Encinas.
Till now, five seasons of Elite have been released by Netflix, and due to its popularity, fans are waiting for a sixth season to watch more drama unfold as the characters try to adjust themselves in a clash of lifestyles, resentments, and sexual attraction. The fifth season was premiered on April 8, 2022, and in October 2021, Netflix renewed the series for a sixth season.

Is Elite Season 6 coming to Netflix in May?
No, there’s still no announcement from the makers related to the arrival of the series. The series won’t be coming in May as the production of Elite Season 6 is reportedly still in progress, and we won’t get the next season before it gets over. So, there seems to be a long wait until we finally get to see Elite Season 6.
Elite Season 6 Release Date
In October 2021, Netflix renewed the series for a sixth season by tweeting, “Big news: Elite has been renewed for Season 6!” The international streaming service then added: “And this December, three new Short Stories will be released: Dec 15th – Phillipe, Caye, & Felipe Dec 20th – Samuel & Omar Dec 23rd – Patrick.” The short stories have all aired now, along with season 5, but Elite Season 6 is still to come.

As for the release date, there’s no information as of now. The production of the sixth season started in February 2022, but there’s no information related to the wrapping up of production, and we won’t see the next season before the post-production process gets over. We’re expecting the season to arrive sometime in 2023. However, if it wraps filming in June and gives six months to post-production, we can expect a release date in December. There’s no official confirmation, but for now, we’re hoping for a 2023 release date for Elite Season 6.
Elite Season 6 Expected Plot
In the upcoming season, the story will pick up in the aftermath of Benjamin going to jail. Arrested as the main suspect for the death of Armando, along with whom, at the same time, he was carrying out a series of illegal actions, the character’s future in prison is almost assured.
An important question that will be answered is, did Samuel survive his attack or die? Samuel had received a series of blows to his head after struggling with Benjamin, just when we thought him dead, Samuel asked Patrick for help, and moments later, people began to arrive at the Blanco mansion.
We’ll see in the upcoming season if he made it or not. Another mystery is whether or not Patrick and Iván will successfully date after working through their issues (including Patrick having a thing with Iván’s dad) remains to be seen. We’ll see the fate of their relationship in the upcoming season of Elite.

One of the first actors to confirm that he will not continue in the sixth season is Omar Ayuso. The actor shared a post on Instagram announcing that he won’t be returning for the next season.
