The stars and members of the series had also spoken about another season and their roles in the upcoming seasons.
“I hope viewers find more of themselves in different characters and feel seen and represented in the show,” Collins told Glamour in her December 2021 cover story. “And I hope that we get a season three because I really hope we get to come back and do this again.”
Show creator Darren Star told People on December 23, “Once we get season 3, I’ll start thinking [about ideas],” It means there could be more seasons!
Emily in Paris Season 3: Is there a release date yet?
There’s no release date announced by Netflix as of now, but we’ve got some exciting news for you!
Emily in Paris Season 3 would begin filming this summer. On April 10, at the Paleyfest, Darren Star and some of the cast of the series gave some really interesting details about the third season. According to Variety, Star announced that production is slated to start in June 2022. If we look into the production schedule of the second season, Season 3 could wrap up in August, as production of the second season started in May 2021 and wrapped in July 2021. So, if it follows the previous schedule, we may get the release date sometime during the end of the year or early 2023.

Season 2 ended on a nail-biting cliffhanger as Emily’s personal as well as professional life gets complicated. In the end, we see Emily finally gathering the courage to confess her feelings for Gabriel, but she’s too late as Gabriel and his girlfriend are living together now.
Show’s creator Darren Star said in an interview with TVLine, “She does have very strong feelings for Gabriel.” “That’s a question she’s going to have to confront is, how can she manage her relationship issues with her work issues, both of which, by the end of season two, is hanging in the balance.”
We don’t know who Emily will end up with, the chef, Gabriel, or the banker, Alfie, but one thing is for sure, this love triangle is going to keep us hooked.

Darren Star told ELLE, “I have a very strong idea [of what Emily chooses], and I think the thing is, there’s no right choice,”
“There’s no choice that’s gonna make everything better and please everybody. And I think Emily also is…a bit of a people pleaser, and she’s gonna make a decision that’s gonna make some people unhappy. And she’s gonna have to deal with that also next season.”
