If you recall, back in September 2022, Variety reported that Emily of Paris season 4 was in production alongside season 3, which is expected to premiere sometime around December 2023. Of course, this is all conjecture, and the network will confirm these details in the coming months as production wraps up on time. We know that all the prior three seasons had a similar one-year gap, so this certainly clears any doubts in the minds of fans if we consider the timeline. 

This indeed confirms that the show is still a long way from premiering a new episode in March 2023 on Netflix!

The episodes will all also have the same time slot of 2:00 a.m. (PT) or 3:00 a.m. (ET), with every new episode dropping on the same day. In an interview with TV Guide, Emily in Paris creator Darren Star was asked what the Camille pregnancy cliffhanger means for the upcoming Season 4. He teased the following: Emily and Gabriel are not jumping into a relationship, even though they are both technically single now. “I don’t know that Gabriel is in the best place to start a relationship with Emily,” Star elaborated. “I am not sure that Emily wants a relationship with Gabriel under the circumstances.” Alfie isn’t completely out of the picture yet, making things really complicated in Season 4.

“Season 4 is going to be more about navigating complicated relationships; personal relationships and work relationships, and how they come into conflict with each other,” Star said. “Emily is still going to be working with Alfie, Gabriel, and Camille. Those work relationships are really fraught with emotional conflicts.” It’s not decided who Emily will settle down with. “There are more chapters before we get anywhere near that,” Star said when asked if he knows who Emily ends up with in the end. “I don’t have one strong idea at the moment of who she is going to be with.”

The upcoming season is expected to have a total of 10 episodes with an average runtime of 24 to 38 minutes, just like the prior seasons. On the other hand, the episode titles and synopsis of the series are not released yet. The network will publish those details when the episodes are due to air on the streaming service.
