Enola Holmes 2 is not releasing this April.
How many of us have grown up watching episodes and movies all about the very famous Sherlock Holmes? It is always said that if there has to be a fictional detective that has a great history it is Sherlock Holmes. Why, you ask? A lot of movies, books, comics, and series are dedicated to him. But why only he? That is when Netflix decided to surprise us with a new movie that had been the center of attention for a really long time now. We had another Holmes. Yes, we are talking about Enola Holmes.
Enola Holmes, which was released in 2020, follows the story of Sherlock Holmes’s sister, who is again a detective, in fact, a cute and smart one. And since then, fans are waiting for Enola Holmes 2. But it seems that the wait has to be a long one because we don’t see it hitting the screens anytime soon, at least not in April. While this is disheartening, it is what it is.
Here is all that we know so far about Enola Holmes 2.
Enola Holmes 2 Release Date
Enola Holmes 2 had been shot in the US in 2021 so the filming has been wrapped up and it was expected or believed that the show would be out this month. But now we see that as there’s no fixed date. The movie is said to be in the post-production stage till May 2022 at least, so it’s safe to rule out the possibility of a May release as well unless Netflix decides to surprise us with an announcement of an early release.

Enola Holmes Recap
The show consists of a secretly charming woman who only seems stupid and absurd to the world but is actually a low-lying detective who finds out and cracks multiple cases. The role played by Stranger Things actor Millie is something that has given us a very refreshing take on this entire movie altogether. We see how she traces down multiple adventures, cracks multiple cases, and unveils various crimes which were a part of society from times immemorial.
Where to watch Enola Holmes?
Enola Holmes is available on Netflix and is around 150 minutes long which makes it a must-watch.
Watch these too
All Sherlock movies should definitely be a part of your list if you’re planning to watch mystery-related movies. Movies like Death on the Nile would be a good option as it’s a classic mystery plot.
If you’re a fan of fantasy mysteries, then the latest Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is something that you should definitely watch.
While the fans are really disappointed, knowing that Enola Holmes would not be back to Netflix anytime soon, we are so happy to know that movie that was performed successfully has completed its filming and is predicted to be back at least sometime this year.
