PDA turned scandalous for the lovebirds.
The viral kiss cam video of former Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot cuddling at the Coldplay concert has taken the internet by storm. Since then, several other videos and pictures have flooded the internet, which show Byron and Cabot from different angles.
One such clip shared by a netizen on TikTok shows them before they were even caught by the kiss cam. Byron was seen hugging Cabot from behind with his hands on her waist, in the video.
“POV: Trying to get the best 📸 of Coldplay but you end up getting this viral affair as well 👀🫢,” the TikTok user captioned the video.

After Byron and Cabot were caught getting cozy by the kiss cam at Coldplay’s July 16 concert at Gillette Stadium near Boston, AI company Astronomer issued an official statement on LinkedIn where they revealed about launching a formal investigation into the matter.
“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability. The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter, and we will have additional details to share very shortly,” the post read.
While the seemingly embarrassed — but smiling — woman in the viral kiss cam video was misidentified as Alyssa Stoddard, Senior Director of People, the official statement confirmed that “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video,” and “Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”
The video that started the scandal showed the ex-CEO and ex-HR chief of Astronomer getting cozy before ducking down to hide as soon as the kiss cam turned towards them, to which Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, said, “Look at these two. Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
The video has received millions of views and thousands of comments from netizens who later discovered that the two were having an extramarital affair.
According to a Page Six report, a rep shared more details on the matter by saying, “As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.”

He further confirmed Andy’s resignation by saying, “Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”
“Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI. While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We’re continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data & AI problems,” the rep concluded. Following the resignation of Byron, Cabot also resigned from her post in the company.
Kristin is married to Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum, while Andy is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron and is a father of two.
