FBI International Season 3 Plot: What to expect from the new season?
The show’s creators have remained tight-lipped about any upcoming plotlines. But, we are certain that it will expand on the basic premise, which follows:
“From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, “FBI: International” follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s International Fly Team. Headquartered in Budapest, they travel the world with the mission of tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they may be. Not allowed to carry guns, the Fly Team members rely on intelligence, quick thinking, and pure brawn as they put their lives on the line to protect the U.S. and its people.”
Moreover, as previously stated, the next season is also expected to pick up the plot right from the second season’s finale, “Fencing the Mona Lisa,” which was directed by Michael Katleman and written by Matt Olmstead and Edgar Castillo. In the episode, the viewers got to see that when a Russian missile is stolen and put on the black market in Budapest, the team must secure the weapon before a mysterious American arms broker delivers it into the wrong hands.

FBI: International Season 3 Cast: Who will reprise their roles?
The main cast members who are expected to reprise their roles are as follows: Luke Kleintank as Supervisory Special Agent Scott Forrester, Heida Reed as Special Agent Jamie Kellett, Carter Redwood as Special Agent Andre Raines, Vinessa Vidotto as Special Agent Cameron Vo, Green as Schutzhund Tank, and Eva-Jane Willis as Europol Agent Megan “Smitty” Garretson is also expected to return in the new season.
Moreover, the recent exclusive report published by Variety has confirmed that Christina Wolfe as Special Agent Amanda Tate will be seen making an appearance in the third season premiere of “FBI: International” next year.
The crew has also changed as Derek Haas, who created the third “FBI” spinoff and served as showrunner for the first two seasons, exited at the end of Season 2. Instead, Matt Olmstead has been announced as the new showrunner. “Although I am leaving Wolf Entertainment next year to focus on creating new shows, I’m entirely committed to delivering amazing episodes of ‘Chicago Fire’ and ‘FBI: International’ through the end of the current seasons,” Haas confirmed and said of his exit last November.
“I learned everything I know about storytelling, pace, characters, production values, and hiring the best cast, crews, and staffs from Dick Wolf and Peter Jankowski, and as hard as it is to leave a place you love and have called home for over a decade, including incredible support from Universal Television, NBC and CBS, I look forward to building my own brand in entertainment.”
Additionally, the series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios.
FBI: International Season 3 Frequently Asked Questions
How many episodes will be there?
When renewed, the series was given a standard 21–22 episode count with an average duration of 39–44 minutes, premiering every week. Due to production delays caused by dual strikes, the season has been shortened to only 13 episodes, which will help to conclude the run of the third season earlier rather than stretching the plot unnecessarily just for the sake of premiering all the episodes. Details on the titles and synopsis will be released once the release date draws near.
Where to stream?
When available, the episodes will air on CBS and later on Paramount Plus, just like the prior seasons. The viewers can also catch up on all the seasons on FuboTV. Moreover, all seasons are also available for renting or purchasing on Amazon Instant Video and Vudu, with a vast number of membership plans. The series is also available to watch for free on CBS’s official website and app, where it’s published after the TV broadcast based on the user’s location.
The show also airs in Canada on Global. In Australia, the show airs on Network 10, Rai 2 in Italy, TV 2 in Norway, FOX in Portugal, and AXN Asia. Moreover, FBI: International aired the first episode of season 1 on Sky Witness in the UK, with new episodes airing every Thursday at 10 p.m., an hour after the main FBI series, which airs in the UK on Thursday nights at 9 p.m. These platforms are subject to change if the license to broadcast is about to expire shortly.
Has a new trailer been released?
