It comes as no surprise that this has been planned by the show creators, as “FBI” delivers 11.3 million viewers with live+35-day viewing, “FBI: Most Wanted” gets 9.6 million, and “FBI: International” delivers 9.1 million. In addition, while sports accounted for the bulk of Variety’s annual list of the top 100 primetime telecasts of the year, a few series made the mark, including “FBI” with seven episodes.

The special three-hour crossover event, “Imminent Threat,” will air on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, kicking off with “FBI: International” at 8 p.m., followed by “FBI” at 9 p.m., and “FBI: Most Wanted” at 10 p.m. The official synopsis states, “The FBI teams join forces to hunt down the fugitive terrorists who are getting closer to carrying out a plot to destroy a major New York landmark that would result in a large number of civilian casualties.”

“As the FBIs continue to dominate on Tuesday nights, we are excited to reward our devoted fans with this special three-hour global crossover event that will bring these three heroic – and popular – teams together for a second time,” Eric Kim, executive vice president of programming for CBS Entertainment and CBS Studios, says in a statement. “Our April 4 crossover event will be a non-stop thrilling experience that will keep viewers engaged in ways that only Dick Wolf’s ‘FBI’ world can.”

FBI: International: 8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT – “Imminent Threat – Part One”

When the abduction of an American architect in Rome appears to be connected to a brewing terror threat in New York City, FBI’s Jubal and Nina (Shantel VanSanten) join FBI: International’s Forrester (Luke Kleintank) and his Fly Team in Italy, as they work together to find the missing American and shed light on the terrorists’ U.S. target.

FBI: 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT – “Imminent Threat – Part Two”

To aid Scola (John Boyd) in his undercover mission to find the terrorists believed to be behind the imminent attack in New York City, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) calls in Remy (Dylan McDermott), whose well-connected informant from a prior case may be key to moving the operation forward.

FBI: MOST WANTED: 10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT – “Imminent Threat – Part Three”

The clock’s ticking as the FBI and FBI: Most Wanted teams join forces to hunt down the fugitive terrorists as they get closer to carrying out a plot to destroy a major New York City landmark and cause devastating civilian casualties. 

The “FBI” series is produced by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with CBS Studios.​​When available, the episodes will air on CBS and later on Paramount Plus, just like the prior seasons.
