Firefly Lane Season 2 Plot
Tully and Kate’s 30-year-strong bond has always felt unbreakable, but at the end of the first season, we learned that something had, in fact, come between the besties. In Season 2, we’ll find out exactly what could potentially end that decades-long friendship. And thanks to the new trailer, we know we’ll also see Tully taking her voice back after quitting her eponymous talk show, Kate and her ex-husband Johnny (Ben Lawson) weathering his accident in Iraq, and Tully starting her career over from scratch with a quest to find out more about the father she never met.
In the flashback storylines, we’ll see Kate and Johnny fall in love, Tully having a fling with a promising sportscaster in the newsroom, and teenage Tully and Kate weathering their first long-term separation when Tully’s mom, Cloud (Beau Garrett), is arrested for dealing drugs. The official trailer 2:16 minutes for the new season was released on November 2, 2022, which gives a brief insight into the new episodes with a tagline, stating, “For Kate and Tully, no obstacle is too big when it comes to their lifelong friendship. But is there one mistake that could tear them apart forever?” Take a look at the official trailer for the second season below:
