ARMY, the day has finally arrived! It’s July 9 and it’s time for all the proud members of the ARMY to celebrate their ninth anniversary. For the unversed, today was the day that the BTS fans named themselves the AMRY nine years ago, in 2013. ARMY is an acronym for ‘Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth’.

On the ninth anniversary, BTS has decided to gift some special things to their fans. So, continue to read how BTS has treated their fans on this special day.

  1. Google street galleries:

BTS collaborated with Google’s Arts & Culture Lab, leading to the development of BTS x Street Galleries which allows you to take a tour of certain places and art pieces that unveil the life story of the BTS members. The best part of this venture is that the septet has curated the gallery by themselves. It involves unraveling Seoul with RM and Jungkook, Los Angeles with SUGA, Sao Paolo with Jin, London with V, New York with J-Hope, and Singapore with Jimin.

  1. BTS VLOG:

Adding to the excitement of the fans, BTS has started a new series, titled BTS VLOG. So from every Saturday, July 9 to August 20, that is for the next seven weeks, the ARMY will be enjoying a BTS VLOG at 7:07 pm KST. In this series, the fans could see the members enjoying their daily routines such as camping, cooking, driving, etc.

  1. Purple Balloons:

The purple balloons go way back to 2016 when V said, ‘I Purple You’ or ‘Borahae’. The reason why he said purple specifically is because purple is the last color of the rainbow, entailing that the love and trust one has for another will be in for a long haul. Ever since this story, the color purple has become a mark of recognition between BTS and ARMY. Hence, also the purple hearts.

  1. V’s selfie:

At 6:41 am IST, one of the BTS members, V, personally wished the ARMY on Weverse, a platform with a huge fanbase. He wished them by dropping off a selfie that was captioned, ‘Happy Birthday ARMY’.

  1. Music video teaser:
