Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington reviews its prequel House of the Dragon

House of the Dragon has received a humongous response ever since its premiere, and the fans are already waiting eagerly for the upcoming episodes. The Game of Thrones prequel features Milly Alcock, Matt Smith, and others. The storyline focuses on House Targaryen’s history. For the unversed, the backdrop of the story is set 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen, Emilia Clarke’s character from Game of Thrones. Recently, the show got reviewed by none other than the GOT alum themselves.

Kit Harington’s review

Kit Harington who portrayed the character of Jon Snow in Game of Thrones, recently gave his much-awaited reaction to the prequel series. The actor opened his thoughts while talking to ET Canada and said, “I’m really enjoying it. My friend Miguel [Sapochnik] show-run it, so I’m really enjoying it. I think they’ve done a fantastic job.” He further continued, “It’s a weird one to start a whole new show in the same kind of realm and to make it its own thing. I think that they’ve really done that.”

Kit Harington’s GOT character

Talking about Kit Harington, his character initially started off as a member of the Stark family in Game of Thrones. However, it was revealed much later that he was a Half-Targaryen. The show’s final season also revealed that Jon Snow’s real name was Aegon Targaryen, who was the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. For the unversed, Rhaegar was the late prince of Dragonstone.

Another spin-off?

The latest reports suggest that a Game of Thrones spin-off is also in the works that will focus on Jon Snow’s character. The potential project was confirmed by none other than George R.R Martin himself, who wrote the same on his blog that reads, “Yes, it was Kit Harrington who brought the idea to us, cannot tell you the names of the writers/showrunners, since that has not been cleared for release yet… but Kit brought them in too, his own team, and they are terrific.”

Talking about the House of the Dragon, four episodes of the show have premiered to date, and the audience is eagerly waiting for the fifth episode.
