The series revolves around a 15-year-old “angry and awkward” girl, Ginny Miller, and her 30-year-old mother, Georgia. The story is set in a New England town where Georgia decided to move with her daughter and son to give them a better life than what she had. The show became an instant hit when it was released and Netflix announced that 52 million subscribers watched the first season of the series for the first 28 days after its release.
The second season of the show is in great demand as Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger. At the end of season 1, we saw Ginny and Austin fleeing Wellsbury on a motorbike as they came to know about her mother’s past. Georgia has no idea about all this and it is going to be very interesting when Georgia will find the kids, which will eventually force her to confront her inner demons. Is Ginny and Georgia Season 2 coming in July 2022?
No, the second season is not coming in July on the streamer as we’ve double-checked the list of movies and web series to be released throughout July, and Ginny and Georgia is nowhere to be found. However, the good news is that production for Season 2 is completely done and the new episodes are currently going through the editing and other post-production activities. The season was filmed over the course of fall 2021 and it was announced on April 28, that the filming of the season was wrapped.

Ginny and Georgia season 2 Expected Release Date
Since there’s no official announcement regarding the release date from the makers, we can only share our predictions as of now. As mentioned above, the series is currently in post-production and if the post-production activities last for four to five months, we can expect the second season to arrive sometime in August or September.
However, if it spends six months for post-production, we’ll get an October release date. There are chances that Netflix may plan to hold the second season at the end of the year but we expect the series to arrive sometime in 2022 only, as a 2023 release date seems unnecessary and not likely to happen. But for now, fans can expect the second season to arrive in August or October at the latest.
