Glow won’t be glowing anymore, at least not for a Season 4.
We all love seeing women perform strong roles, don’t we? Whether as the antagonist or the protagonist, we always want to see women in their element – fiercely ruling the screen. One such show took the world by storm in 2017, as it was a great and well-portrayed adaptation of something real, and it was all about women. Yes, we are talking about Glow. But is Glow coming back to the ring again? Or is the ‘glow’ lost?

Will there be a Season 4 of Glow?
Glow Season 4 has been canceled and a season 4 would not be coming out. In case, you are wondering why, the production had begun but had to be stopped midway because of the pandemic. Now, restarting and investing money seems difficult as Netflix is uncertain if they can engage the same crowd after two and a half years of the release of the last season, which is, indeed, a long time.
The show has quite an extensive cast of 20 people. All the main characters had even been paid the full amount for the new season, but the makers believe that many people even among them are grieving a loss of a loved one, and delaying or reinvesting in the project will make it a bad idea as the makers have now lost the confidence of making it big this time.

How many episodes are there in Glow Season 3?
Every season has 10 episodes each which last about 40 to 45 minutes per episode.
Glow Season 1 came out in 2017 and the last episode of Season 3 was out in 2019. The show was received well as it got a high IMDB rating of 8/10. We would have had a new season, but unfortunately, now it stands canceled. Also, the last season had less focus on wrestling so viewers believe that it is better the show has been dissolved as now the attention was moving away from the core subject.

As it was said the new season had 20 plus members and the cast was indeed huge. The main characters have very adorable pet ‘Wrestling names’ such as ‘Machu Picchu’ or ‘Zoya the Destroya’.
What is Glow about?
The show is a fictionalized version of a women’s pro wrestling league. Women, who are out of work actresses took to this job in order to be back in the news, as it was considered a big deal back then. But we see all the women landing in Vegas where they strive hard to survive and even get involved in the Strip Club rackets, only to realize any world, even away from the world of glamour is not an easy place to survive in. The show has been appreciated for the way in which the characters have taken upon the subject and done justice to the real story with their bold acting.
